Police Investigate North End Stabbing

New Bedford Police are looking for a man in connection with a stabbing late Saturday morning outside 44 Phillips Avenue.

Police say a 23 year old man suffered a stab wound during an argument with another man around 11:30am.

The victim described his attacker as a white male with a beard, about 5'6", wearing a blue hoodie and walking a dog.

Police say the victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, but the extent of his injuries are not known. The investigation is ongoing.
