Patriots Paying Tribute to Ty Law This Weekend
The Jets are heading to Gillette this weekend and during halftime a Patriots Hall of Famer will be honored.
Ty Law was recently inducted in to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and he is heading to his old stomping grounds this Sunday afternoon to be honored.
During halftime of this weekend's home game, Law will receive his Ring of Excellence from Hall of Fame President & CEO David Baker.
And this thing is pretty sweet.
Created by Kay Jewelers this 14K gold ring has nearly two carats of diamonds and a ton of personal touches.
One one side is Ty Law's name and the Hall of Fame logo.
One the other is an image of his Hall of Fame bust and the position he played.
Then inside is the year he was inducted and his Enshrinee number (323).
And the entire this is designed to look like a football stadium.
Could there be any more meaning here?
And of course earning it in the first place has a lot of meaning. This legendary cornerback will be on hand at Gillette Stadium this Sunday to receive his one-of-a-kind Ring of Excellence in what I'm sure will be an emotional ceremony for Law.
Fans lucky enough to be at the game this Sunday will definitely be able to catch every moment of this presentation. And hopefully those of us watching at home will be shown some moments from it as well.
