The Pan-Mass Challenge began in 1980 and has grown to be Dana-Farber’s largest single contributor.

This fundraising event is such an amazing and positive sign of hope for those affected by cancer. Cyclists from all over gather in Massachusetts to ride up to 192 miles this weekend. All in the name of cancer research.

Wareham rider, Henry Gleason is ready for this demanding journey. “Looking forward to another great ride and raising money for a great cause.”

There are 13 routes for riders to choose from based on skill (and hill). The starting point is in Sturbridge, and the finish line is at Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Bourne. Most riders arrive at MMA between 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm. To donate, click HERE for the Pan-Mass Challenge website.

Keep in mind that there are several stops planned along all the routes that may impact your ability to get wherever you’re going this weekend:

--Lakeville Waterstop at Apponequet Regional High School
--Middleboro Waterstop at Middleboro Council on Aging
--Patriot Place Waterstop near Tavolino
--Wareham Waterstop at Decas Elementary School
