What a sunset last night here on the SouthCoast! My family was on our way into downtown New Bedford last night when we saw the incredible views over New Bedford Harbor. I was headed over the New Bedford-Fairhaven Bridge when I convinced my family to let me turn the car around and take a picture.

Yes, the sunset was THAT good.

As I was turning around, I was so afraid that the lighting would change before I could take my photos, but it didn't. I was able to snap a couple of pictures of the fiery, orange sunlight perfectly reflecting off of the water. As I moved in closer, the light did change. The coloring changed dramatically from orange to a cotton candy pink which had a dramatic contrast against the perfect blue sky. I snapped a picture of the cotton candy sky, and hopped back into my car that I had parked at the Seaport Inn.

I got one of those feelings that you get when you experience a moment of Zen. We were grasping onto some of the final moments of the summer. I was surrounded by the people I love, heading into a city that I love for dinner, and watching one of the most colorful sunsets I've ever seen in my life.

It was a "love where you live" moment.

We were talking about the sunset this morning on the Rock and Fox Show and ended up receiving so many pictures from the audience on the Fun 107 app that we decided to share some of our favorites with you here.  These range from Lakeville to Fall River and New Bedford.

By the way, these were all taken with NO FILTER.
