Possible Organic Skyscraper In London [VIDEO]
Would you be willing to help "grow" a skyscraper?
French architecture firm Chartier-Corbasson proposes to use "disused water bottles and office rubbish" from office workers to build a skyscraper "close to Shoreditch High Street" in London according to ITV.
The concept begins with "a basic skeleton of metal poles, modeled after complex bamboo scaffolding" states Outside. As the lower floors are used, the recycled items produced by office workers would then insulate panels on the outside.
Therefore, the tenants of the building regulate the speed of completing the skyscraper. The designs include wind turbines, observation decks, and gardens. What a resourceful way to reinvent trash!
