Warmer weather means outdoor sliding and playground swinging.

We're happy to report that Noah’s Place Playground, located on Pope's Island in New Bedford, will be be celebrating its Opening Day on Sunday.

Noah's Playground is the largest sensory-based playground in New England. It’s an all-accessible playground where children of all abilities can play together with each child's comfort in mind.

A little background on Noah's Place Playground: it was established by the Team Noah Foundation that was started in honor of Noah Fernandes, who was diagnosed with M.E.L.A.S., a progressive and degenerative mitochondrial disease.

Noah's is having their grand reopening for summer on May 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be tons of food, great music, and face painting for all of the kiddos, so plan accordingly, and get the family ready for a day of fun in the sun. Team Noah merchandise will also be available at the playground for purchase.
