People seem to be at odds as to whether North Providence police officers were wrong to make some young men do push-ups after pulling over their car.   The episode was caught on video by a resident who saw the traffic stop from his home.   The witness says the men, who appeared to be in their late teens, each did about a dozen push-ups while the officers watched.

One of the suspects mothers says she is fine with what the police instructed her son to do.  But the mayor of North Providence says he would have an issue with it, since it's not procedure.  Meanwhile, the city's acting Police Chief says the allegation will be taken seriously as something that questions the professionalism of the police department.
