A North Dartmouth Family has won an award in the Fresh Air Fund's Photo Contest.

The Fund says that Kerrie Parsons' photo won in the "Summer Sisters" category.

The photo features host sisters Isaac and Siena posing with 7-year-old Kavalier, of the Bronx, N.Y., who spent 15 days with the family in July as part of The Fresh Air Fund’s Friendly Towns Program.

Winning pictures were selected from hundreds of photos submitted by volunteer host families along the East Coast and Southern Canada.

The Fresh Air Fund, describes itself as "an independent, not-for-profit agency, has provided free summer experiences to more than 1.8 million New York City children from low-income communities since 1877."
