Newport Folk Festival Sells Out Before Lineup Is Even Announced
The annual Newport Folk Festival has been notorious for putting on quite the show every year, so it's no wonder this year's tickets to the festival sold out in record time.
This year's festival, which is taking place at Fort Adams State Park in late July, will sprawl over three days, July 24- 26. Sounds like fun – if you can get a ticket to it.
Normally, we would share with you the concert lineup, and if the lineup had acts you were excited to see live, you would plan to buy tickets when they went on sale. Well, that came and went, and we are sorry we didn't tell you.

If you visit the Newport Folk Festival website and try to score tickets, the only option you have is to join a waitlist as all 2026 tickets are sold out.
That's right, without even knowing the lineup for the festival, thousands of people have spent hundreds of dollars.
A Festival With Decades of Trust and Tradition
Seeing as the festival has been going on for decades, it's a safe bet that the lineup won't disappoint. In previous years, the lineup had dozens of notable national acts like Maren Morris, Hozier, and even Lana Del Rey.
Now Who Do We Think Might Be In This Year's Lineup?
Now we don't have the inside scoop on who will be coming this year, but I'm venturing to speculate and throw a few names out there.
She may not be going on tour, but she will be newly married and may be hanging out at her summer home in Rhode Island, so I'm thinking Taylor Swift may make an appearance. It's not too far-fetched.
On the more realistic side, perhaps Lola Young or Benson Boone, or maybe Sombre?
What notable pop acts do you think might be part of the lineup? We will keep a close eye on the festival's Facebook page.
For those that have already secured their tickets, I certainly hope you like the lineup.
