New Shape Carved For Opening Of Beloved Westport Corn Maze
Opening weekend of the annual Buzzards Bay Brewery corn maze is almost here and it'll go perfectly with another corn event at the Westport farm.
It's the 25th Anniversary season for this beloved corn maze and on Friday September 15, it'll officially open to guests of the farm with a new, mystery shape.
This week's rain didn't stop the brewery from carving up the corn and getting the rows ready for people to literally get lost in, but it did make the process a little sticky as photos of the farm employee tasked with the carving certainly prove.

Still the corn maze is ready to roll and opens this Friday for the first of many fall weekends.
From September 15 through October 28 you can add wandering through corn stalks to your Buzzards Bay Brewery visit on Friday from 3-6 and Saturdays from 1-6.
The brewery itself stays open until 8 P.M. both of those nights, so grabbing a brew after you make it out successfully sounds like a great way to celebrate.
It's not the only anticipated "corn" event at the farm this weekend however.
On Sunday September 17, the Mission 22 Cornhole Tournament returns with teams of two playing cornhole to raise money for Mission 22, the non-profit organization working to prevent veteran suicide.
The brewery will be closed to the public for the event, but open Friday and Saturday for those interested in tackling this season's corn maze.
The maze is family friendly and dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed at all times.
Food trucks will be on hand during corn maze weekends, plus you can enjoy live music, corn hole and volleyball on the farm.
It all makes for a very fun fall day at this beautiful coastal farm and the fun officially starts this Friday.
