Story Land is changing some of their policies this summer and it could affect how you pack for the park.

After announcing the move to completely cashless last summer, the family favorite New Hampshire theme park is making more changes for this summer too.

This time around things won't affect your wallet, but they could affect the bag you carry it in.

According to Story Land's website, the 2023 season will have a new entrance policy as well as a new bag and cooler policy.

First change comes right at the gate with a screening of every guest. As the theme park states it,

Story Land is enhancing our security standards and all bags, coolers and stroller/wagons will go through a security screening at the front of the park prior to entering. To reduce wait times into the park, we ask you bring only necessary items in a bag no larger than 15” x 15” x 15”, bags needed for childcare supplies and medical bags larger than this size will be permitted into the park.

They add that everyone is still welcome to get a handstamp at the exit gate for easier reentry, but make it clear that any guest that leaves to park will have to be screened again upon returning.

There is also a change to the number of bags allowed. Each guest can bring in one bag no bigger than 15” x 15” x 15” and one soft cooler no bigger than 12” x 12” x 12”, though exceptions will be made for bags holding child supplies and medical needs.

Story Land also added that hard-sided coolers are no longer allowed in and as always no alcohol or glass containers are permitted.

Opening day for Story Land is coming up on May 27th.
