New M. Night Shyamalan Movie In Need Of Musicians

We're just days away from the start of filming on the new M. Night Shyamalan movie in Rhode Island and you can be part of the action.

As with any big production film, extras will be needed for some of the scenes. But it's a specific background part that the movie is looking for right now.

If you’ve got a talent for singing your own songs, M. Night Shyamalan might have a job for you.

In a recent posting on the Boston Casting, Inc Facebook page, the company put out the call for singer-songwriters. The ad just happened to specifically mention M. Night Shyamalan too.

It's still unclear why a singer-songwriter is being sought for a film said to be about a man who's sister tells him she can see spirits on her deathbed. It is described as a romantic thriller however, so perhaps you’d be featured in some sort of date scene.

There's also a really good chance you’d be playing in a scene with Jake Gyllenhaal and what aspiring artist wouldn't want to do that?

Not to mention playing your original songs in the major motion picture, and getting paid for the use of those songs.

The Boston Casting ad asks for all those interested to send an email with your name, number, email and the town you're currently located in to bostoncastingsubmit10@gmail.com.

That email should also include both headshot and full body photos plus links to an Instagram or YouTube that shows you performing.

Some local singer could be getting their big break this summer all thanks to M. Night Shyamalan.
