New Kids on the Block have their own day in Massachusetts. This year, we get the gifts, as if their music wasn't enough.

If you are a die-hard NKOTB fan, and even if you are not, you may know that back in 1989, then-governor Michael Dukakis declared April 24 New Kids on The Block Day.

The honor came at the height of their fame to celebrate their musical contributions with their extremely loyal and passionate Massachusetts fans.

This year, the boys are giving us the best gift ever. They are heading out on tour and have two dates in Boston: July 15 and 16.

If you haven't gotten tickets yet, then get your thumbs ready. This NKOTB Day, Sunday, you can get tickets to see the boys for just $19.89. The tickets will only be available while supplies last and for one day.

At that price? What inflation?

At a price like $19.89, we are rolling back to what concerts used to cost, right?

In case seeing the boys won't be nostalgic enough, the opening acts are everything. We are talking the legendary Salt-N-Pepa, Rick Astley and En Vogue.

The tour is appropriately called The Mixtape Tour and the Boston stop will be at TD Garden.

Tickets at the special price go on sale at 10 a.m. April 24.

But why buy when you can win?

Join me and Fun 107 on Saturday, April 23, at B&B Marketplace, 1285 Broadway, Raynham, where we will give away a pair of tickets every hour between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

It doesn't get any better than this.

Own a Piece of New Kids on the Block History

The Dorchester house where New Kids on the Block Jordan and Jonathan Knight grew up was listed for sale ($1.8 million on Zillow) in the fall of 2021, but be advised, this house is a fixer-upper. You'll have to be "Hangin' Tough" and take the repairs "Step by Step," provided you've got "The Right Stuff" to renovate it.
