New England Bride Hitchhikes To Wedding

A New England bride didn't let a flat tire stop her from making it to the alter.

CBS Boston reported that Angelique Arsenault of Brookline, New Hampshire had to use her thumb to get to her own wedding last weekend.

Apparently Arsenault's limo got a flat tire on a rarely traveled back road in New Hampshire.

Arsenault didn't let it get her down and according to her bridesmaids, she actually laughed about it.

Then she got out of the limo and tried to get a ride to the venue (which was seven rural miles away).

It took a few tries, but a man named Jay eventually pulled over and asked how he could help. He reportedly had a car full of kids at the time, but he dropped them off and returned to take the bride where she needed to go.

Arsenault was about 30 minutes late for her own wedding, but she and the bridal party made it and the rest of the night went off without a hitch (hike).
