New Bedford Police: Woman Assaults Officers During Medical Call
NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police say three officers were assaulted while responding to a medical call.
Police were called to 413 County Street, Apt. 3, on Tuesday at 7:18 p.m. for a medical situation. As police responded, they say the subject of the call, described only as a woman in her 30's, became argumentative and caused a disturbance, grabbing and pushing three officers.
The woman will be summonsed to New Bedford District Court on three charges of assault and battery on a police officer.
Police say the officers were not injured.
