Vote for 'The Golden Bark-chelor' at Lighthouse Animal Shelter

Fans of The Bachelor are very familiar with the power of a single rose. Beautiful bachelorettes compete for a chance at love with one bachelor, with the grand finale showing the new couple riding off into the sunset.

In the doggy version created by Lighthouse Animal Shelter, charming cannines compete against each other for the final rose—a dream day away from the shelter.

Check out the cute contestants.

How to Participate in The Golden Bark-elor

From now until February 28th, supporters of the shelter can buy a rose for as many dogs s they want and as many times as they want. The pup with the most roses will win an exciting day away from the shelter, filled with fun, treats, and plenty of adventure.

The contest checks two boxes. Number one, it helps the shelter continue to provide exceptional care to these loving animals. Number two, it reminds these dogs just how loved they truly are. All of these dogs have been at the shelter for over 100 days and at least half of them for over a year.

The Golden Bark-chelor is a chance to shower these dogs with love.

Supporters can purchase roses online, spread the word to their friends, or even adopt one of the eligible bachelors.

Get those votes in. One lucky dog has a top-notch day ahead of them.

If SouthCoast Dogs Had a Dating App, It Would Look Something Like This

August 26 is International Dog Day, and it got me thinking. What if there was a way for dogs to connect with other dogs in the area to make new friends? Or maybe even find love? Twenty-six dogs living on the SouthCoast sent me their profile picture and bio. Let's see the eligible pups.
