A new viral video shows violence occurring in New Bedford High School once again

Superintendent Dr. Pia Durkin Calls the FUN Morning Show to update us on the situation

When Dr. Pia Durkin appeared on the Fun Morning Show in February to talk about an ABC 6 report that she called erroneous, Durkin assured Fun 107 listeners that New Bedford High was a safe school for both students and teachers. A video that was recorded last week at NBHS has now gone viral that shows a student throwing a chair at his teacher after she had taken away his phone.

A letter to Fun 107 from a concerned parent expressed concern. "You'll notice that the teachers have no way to get help in volatile situations. She (the teacher) had to rely on another student to call the office."
