Ghost Haunts New Bedford Home and There’s Creepy Video to Prove It
Just in time for Halloween, here's a New Bedford ghost story.
If you are someone who is skeptical about ghosts, there's a video you need to see. This is the video that's got everyone in New Bedford talking. When we watched it in the Fun 107 studio this morning it made the hair on the back of our necks stand up. This just might be the creepiest video you'll see this Halloween season. The fact that this was caught on video in the heart of New Bedford is unnerving.
The incident in question was caught on a Ring camera video. "There's a lot of activity that goes on outside of my house," said Jess Garzon. "I don't have cameras inside, yet, but there's a lot of stuff that goes on inside my house, too."
Garzon tells us she got a notification that there was movement in her yard. "When I looked, I said what the...what is THAT?" She says the time was 3 o'clock in the morning, commonly known as the devil's hour. According to Britannica, " Biblical references to the death of Jesus were calculated as having occurred at 3:00 pm. Accepting this calculation, the inversion or opposite of this time was then considered the “devil’s hour.”
The "ghost" enters the video 8 seconds into the clip. Garzon said it freaked her out that you could see the ghost go over the fence, across the yard, then towards the light. She was also creeped out that the "being" was black and not white. Garzon said she's been living in her 1970's Bannister Street home for the past 13 years and has seen a lot of paranormal activity.
She says she sees ghosts in her home all of the time. We have a disconnected camera that somehow connects every morning at 4. Even though I've seen a lot of weird things, I choose not to believe it. If I see a shadow moving out of the corner of my eye I act like I don't see it," she said.
