New Bedford Dollhouse Store One of the Biggest in the World

I had no idea that New Bedford is home to one of the biggest dollhouse collections in the world.

I'm ready to be teased for what I'm about to admit, but yes, I was one of those kids that played with dolls when I was younger. More specifically, their hair. I think I missed my calling and should have been a hairstylist because I legit would style them for hours.

Ask any of my friends and they will tell you, I was a different little boy. Don't get me wrong, I loved my Ninja Turtle figures, too.

So with all this time I spent with dolls, I'm surprised I had no idea that New Bedford was home to one of the biggest collections of dollhouses in the world.

In case you didn't know either, the place is called Flip This Dollhouse. It is located on West Rodney French Boulevard and opened in early 2019.

I reached out to them to find out how business has been since I assume having more kids stuck at home these days, they need things to keep them busy. They said that adults are the ones more likely to check out these dollhouses, as more adults are finding this as a hobby than kids.

So I guess I need to go check this place out? Have you been to this spot? It looks almost like there are dollhouses with all the options.
