The Nelly Strong Foundation is celebrating their first Nelly Strong Day this July at Durfee High School.

The Nelly Strong Foundation says that during Janelle "Nelly" Eaton's battle with cancer, the community was always there to support Nelly and her family. So on July 30th, they will be saying thank you to the community with a fun filled day of events for the whole family.

The day long event will take over Durfee High School on July 30th from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will feature live music, a parade, games, bouncy houses and vendors.

The foundation will even try to get into The Guinness Book of World Records with the largest gathering of "angels." They are trying to gather 1039 "angels" at the event to make it into the record books.

You can register to be one of these "angels" here.

The event sounds like its growing everyday and the foundation is still looking for more vendors and volunteers. You can get more information on being a part of Nelly Strong Day by emailing laura@nellystrongfoundationinc.org or by calling 508.567.2838.
