DIGHTON — The motorcyclist killed in a Friday night crash involving another vehicle in Dighton has been identified as 46-year-old Fall River man Christopher Raposo.

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office said Raposo was driving a motorcycle when it apparently went through a stop sign at the intersection of Elm and Main streets at around 9:20 p.m. Friday.

According to the D.A.'s office, the motorcycle struck the passenger side of a black Subaru station wagon.

Raposo was ejected off his seat and landed near the intersection.

First responders found him to be dead at the scene.

The Subaru driver, a 48-year-old man, was taken to Morton Hospital with minor injuries, according to the D.A.'s office.

An investigation into the crash led by the Dighton Police Department, Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office is ongoing.
