Parents and students got quite a surprise last week at Clermont Middle School in Florida, watching a 7-foot-long alligator tried getting onto the campus through a fence. One mom, however, took matters into her own hands.

The Orlando Sentinel reports Lake County mom, Jessica McGregor, who is also a county deputy, tied up the gator, and turned it on its back to tape up its snout.

I've lived in Lake County my whole life. Back in the day, you had these things come up on your land, and you just caught 'em up and threw 'em back in the nearest watering hole. You didn't feel the need to waste anybody's time.

I would've screamed like a 10 year old girl and run into the house. Nice job Jessica.
