I've never been one for sequels, but I am intrigued by this idea.

Boston rapper Millyz might’ve just dropped one of the most curious “what ifs” on Instagram this week, and it involves none other than Massachusetts’ own Mark Wahlberg.

The Cambridge native posted a photo of himself sitting beside Wahlberg earlier this week, giving fans zero context as to why the two were together. Was it a collab? A film? A random meet-up? Nobody knows – and that’s what makes it even better. His caption only made things more mysterious.

The Viral Post That Shook Up the 'Gram

In the post, Millyz joked about a possible sequel to the 2005 action film Four Brothers, saying he’d play the “long lost cousin from Fall River who got in debt to the mob.” A nice nod to the Spindle City.

Do I smell Four Brothers 2: The SouthCoast Showdown?  That, of course, would be my choice of title and you're damn right I'd watch it.

The comment section instantly blew up with fans loving the mashup of local pride and classic Wahlberg energy. A Four Brothers sequel set in Massachusetts – with Millyz as the debt-ridden cousin trying to make things right – sounds like a movie we didn’t know we needed.

Again, this is all speculation.

Until Hollywood makes it happen, we’ll just enjoy the fact that two of Massachusetts’ most recognizable faces linked up for one iconic photo.
