
Middleboro Unveils Plans for Massive New Skate Park
Grab your board and get ready to kickflip your way to fun in Middleboro.
The town recently shared some images of the projected plans for a brand new skate park.
That's right, this new space is going to be just a short drive away. A great outdoor active option for the kids to burn some energy and work on their skills.

Skate Park Fun in Store
The former DPW location on Wareham Street will be the new home of bowls, rails and more for local skaters, boarders and bikers to enjoy.
Whether you ride goofy or regular, rock the roller blades and channel your inner Tony Hawk, this park is for you.
As you look through the photos shared, it's important to note that "areas shaded in blue are technically additional modifications and subject to available funding."

Town Of Middleboro Shares Excitement
The Town of Middleboro shared more information on its Facebook page: "The skatepark design and construction is fully funded through the MA Parkland Acquisitions and Renovations for Communities (PARC) grant and private donations."
Site work is in full swing as the former DPW site continues to be transformed into a skate park as the town anticipates a June 2026 opening.
In addition to the photos on the Facebook page, the Town of Middleboro said, "we will share the park progress online and a plan for the official opening next summer!"
