Meghan Trainor grew up on Nantucket and the Cape listening to Fun 107 when she could catch it in her mom's car. She told us this morning that she now listens whenever she wants on the Fun 107 app. Here's her interview from this morning on the Michael Rock Show.

Grammy Award Winning artist, Meghan Trainor is back with a new song called "No Excuses."

"Your mama taught you better than that," she joked with us this morning. "I know MY mama did," said Meghan. The song is one about respect. She says that it is a message she thinks the world needs in 2018.

"I'm in LOOOOOOOVE," sang Meghan. We talked about her engagement and her wedding plans (or lack thereof).  "A lot of people keep asking me about my plans...I don't know....I really haven't had a second to think about it....we're just loving being engaged and feeling like adults," she said.

She still hasn't made up her mind if she wants a HUGE wedding or a super small wedding at her house. The one decision she seems to have made is the general location. Her guests shouldn't book the ferry tickets to Nantucket just yet. Meghan says she definitely wants the wedding to be in a warm place where the weather is predictable...so that pretty much rules out New England. She says a West Coast wedding is much more likely.

Meghan did admit that when she first starting dating her fiance, Daryl Sabara (who played Juni in the Spy Kids movies), she would sometimes get weirded out.

"Oh my God," she said. "It was hard when we were first dating, I'd be making out with him....sometimes I'd look and I'd be like 'Oh my God, that's Juni!"

Luckily, Meghan says she soon got over that feeling.
