Meet Kolton a Creative and Caring Boy Looking for a Family
Kolton is funny, insightful, and thoughtful. He loves listening to NPR and is a champ at playing the Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me game show that airs on the station.
Kolton’s Creative Side
Kolton enjoys watching horror movies.
“Considering I watched Scream 1 through 4 when I was six years old, I’m fine. Those movies are way too dark, though. I could barely see anything," he said.
Kolton is super creative. He can build cars and airplanes with LEGOs and can craft nearly any toy he wants using just paper and tape. He also channels his creativity through Minecraft and other hands-on activities.
An Energetic and Curious Student
Kolton is energetic and enjoys riding his bike, taking on ropes courses, and swimming. He also loves reading, especially mysteries and science fiction. In school, Kolton is a strong student with a passion for history and science, and he especially enjoys creative writing assignments in English.
“I can draw, I can do math. I’m basically a god in every subject. I rarely draw, but when I do, it looks really good,” Kolton said.

Social, Caring, and Fun
Kolton is very social and has great relationships with both school staff and his peers. He is compassionate, always looking out for his friends. If your family enjoys ice cream outings, Kolton will fit right in.
“If you ever bring me to a place with ice cream, you’d better expect to be getting an Oreo frappe," he said.
The Right Family for Kolton
Kolton will thrive in a loving and consistent family from New England or New York, ideally with at least two caregivers. He would love to have his own room and it’s important that any pre-adoptive family supports Kolton in maintaining connections with his biological family.
