What Is So Special About Ned's Point Lighthouse?
According to USCG Staff Officer Flotilla 63 and Lighthouse Keeper Sal Giglia, Ned's Point Lighthouse is an iconic structure of the SouthCoast and still serves an important purpose.
Giglia said Ned's Point is an active ATON, still aiding in navigation for mariners to travel safely.
If you have a lighthouse passport, you can have it stamped at Ned's Point as well.

Ned's Point Needs Your Help
After almost two centuries of aiding vessels, the lighthouse could use a few repairs and renovations including fresh paint, repairing a few cracks from stress fractures and more.
When touring the structure, consider making a donation to preserve the nearly-190-year-old lighthouse.
