I've been a fan of Dunkin' my whole life. I endorsed their coffee, donuts, sandwiches and treats for decades. I like a nice strawberry Coolata as much as the next guy, but I think I draw the line at Dunkin' deodorant.

Again, I'm not going to say I'm not a fan of a great collaboration. Some of the best songs are collabs. I think it's fun when two food brands get together like Hidden Valley Ranch Cheez-Its dressing or Goldfish and Frank's Red Hot.

But I'm struggling with a new collaboration I just saw for the first time today. It is a collaboration between Dunkin' and Native. The brands have rolled out different flavors of Dunkin' shampoos and body washes including Strawberry Frosted, Vanilla Sprinkle and Blueberry Cobbler.

The shampoo and the body wash are weird enough, but we're now creating a line of "flavors" for deodorant? I don't mean to sound disrespectful, but what is Dunkin' doing in the deodorant business? If I'm Dunkin', I don't want people to associate my yummy brand with smelly, sweaty armpits. I don't get it.

Apparently, Massachusetts is demanding more Dunkin'-flavored deodorants than I would have thought. It's big enough to be distributed by Walmart!

I understand that we're in the epicenter of the Dunkin' universe, but I just wonder if consumers in Iowa, Texas or California will have the same amount of zeal to roll the Blueberry Cobbler under their arms after their morning shower. It might make them hungry!

We talked about it this morning on The MGM Show, and a caller said how she is a big fan of the Dove body wash collaboration with Crumbl cookie. She loved the Confetti Cake flavor, but there are a bunch offered by Walmart.
