Massachusetts AG Campbell Tells Illegal Aliens: 'Know Your Rights

Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell has sued the Trump Administration at least 15 times since late January, according to Yahoo News, challenging, among other things, Trump's executive orders, DOGE authority, education funding decisions and immigration policies.

Not only has President Donald Trump drawn Campbell's ire, but the South Dartmouth Democrat is also taking on Trump's U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which she accuses of using "aggressive tactics" in enforcing immigration law.

"From arresting parents in front of their children to pulling people who present no public safety threat out of their cars in broad daylight, the aggressive ICE tactics we're seeing across the Commonwealth do not protect the public and instead spread fear," Campbell said in a statement on her official website.

Campbell said she is responding to "increased immigration enforcement activity."

"In releasing this guidance, I strongly encourage everyone to inform themselves of their rights when they see immigration officers in their communities," she said.

Campbell's guide also offers specific information for service providers, health care providers, K-12 schools, institutions of higher education and more.

Campbell offered some sound advice to bystanders during ICE actions.

"Bystanders can watch. Bystanders can record," she said. "But bystanders legally cannot obstruct, impede, or assault an ICE agent."

Perhaps now Campbell can get around to enforcing the audit law approved by voters last fall.
