A SouthCoast DJ can now add a pretty impressive television credit to his résumé after spinning for some of Bravo’s biggest stars.

Jonathan Wiley, a DJ from Marion, recently appeared on the season finale of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, helping get the party started at Dorinda Medley’s famous Blue Stone Manor in the Berkshires.

According to Bravo, the series celebrates 20 years of the Real Housewives franchise, bringing together stars including Vicki Gunvalson, Luann de Lesseps, Teresa Giudice, Kyle Richards, Porsha Williams, Gizelle Bryant and Lisa Barlow for a trip across the country. Bravo confirmed the journey would culminate at Blue Stone Manor for the grand finale

From Marion to Blue Stone Manor

Wiley told The MGM Show that the opportunity came after a California event planner who had previously worked with productions including Vanderpump Rules discovered him through ChatGPT.

“I didn’t think it was real at first,” Wiley said. “But after digging in and doing some research on it, it ended up being the real deal.”

Once he arrived at Blue Stone Manor, Wiley found himself surrounded not only by the Housewives, but an entire Bravo production crew. Wiley even got the chance to meet Andy Cohen, who surprised the cast during the event. “He was super down to earth. Very charismatic,” Wiley said.

A Carefully Planned DJ Set

There was one unusual challenge for Wiley: music licensing. He couldn’t simply play his normal party set while cameras were rolling. Wiley prepared a playlist ahead of time and waited for producers to give him the green light. Once they did, he played approximately 10 minutes to get the party going before Medley and another DJ took over.

His wife Priscilla, a huge Housewives fan, was also able to attend and even appeared in a few shots. “It was almost like a personal BravoCon for her,” Wiley joked.

The finale is now streaming on Peacock, where SouthCoast viewers can keep an eye out for one of their own behind the DJ booth.

For Wiley, it was a surreal gig, and potentially the beginning of even more television opportunities. “Hopefully something else,” he said. “That’d be really cool.”
