Want to take a cruise without having to travel to New York or Florida first? Well Boston will be the homeport for some sweet trips this year.

Clearly cruises are all the rage, because Boston is going to be seeing four major cruise lines call them home[port] for the first time this year.

Flynn Cruiseport Boston announced their 2020 cruise schedule recently and cruise lines like Norwegian Cruise Line, Holland America, Royal Caribbean, and Celebrity Cruises are going to be offering trips out of Boston this year.

I love this.

Personally I've never taken a cruise and always wanted to.

These new cruises out of Boston are going to make it so much easier.

And there are great places to travel to as well.

Like Bermuda, Montreal, Quebec, Toronto and even Amsterdam. That last one sounds amazing.

I have said for so long if I was going to plan a big trip, I would want to take a cruise through Europe. I never thought of taking a cruise to Europe. But one is leaving from Boston this July.

It appears that Bermuda and Canada are the most offered cruise destinations from Boston, but there are plenty of them from April through November so your trip plans can be pretty wide open.

Even just heading to Boston when the cruise ships are docked would be cool. These things are like huge floating cities, they're kind of amazing to see in person if you never have.

And I'm sure if these cruises go well, Boston could see more destination options head their way.
