Luis is active, outgoing, and inquisitive. He enjoys spending time outside riding bikes or getting into highly competitive games of pickup basketball or soccer.

What Luis Enjoys Most

When he is not outside playing, like many other teens, Luis enjoys playing video games. He is also an extraordinarily thoughtful and generous child. He once used his birthday money to buy presents for his sister.

A Strong Student In The Classroom

In school, Luis is an active participant in the classroom. He is a middle school student who enjoys answering academic questions. He quickly takes an interest in his schoolwork and especially enjoys showing off his math skills.

The Right Family Fit

Luis would do well in a patient and loving family in New England or New York, where he can be the youngest or only child in the home. It is important that any pre adoptive family supports Luis in maintaining connections with his biological family.

Who Can Adopt?

If you’re at least 18, have a stable source of income and have room in your heart, you may be a perfect match to adopt a waiting child. Adoptive parents can be single, married or partnered; experienced or not; renters or homeowners; LGBTQ+ singles and couples. As an adoptive parent, you won’t have to pay any fees. Adoption from foster care is completely free in Massachusetts.

To learn more about adoption from foster care, call the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) at (617) 964-6273 or visit www.mareinc.org. Start the process today and give a waiting child a permanent place to call home.
