Looking for Some at-Home Workout Gear? Here You Go
If you are like me, this quarantine has been weighing on me both mentally and physically. The best cure is getting a little workout in.
I'm sure you have seen all the creative ways people are getting a workout in. Luckily we live on the coast, so hitting a beach or bike path to at least get some fresh air and get your heart rate up is pretty easy.
If you're like me, at-home workouts are tough. I don't really have any equipment. I tried ordering some online and I'd be lucky to get it in a month.
Apparently my phone has been stalking me and now it sends me ads for workout equipment. Clearly, my phone doesn't know how much money I have in my bank account, as it sent me an ad for Louis Vuitton dumbbells that would set me back just over $2,000. They do know we are in the middle of a pandemic right now, right? That's not all they have, either. You can get a jump rope for $670. Maybe a ping pong set for $2,720. For an extra $20 for shipping you can have these items in one business day. Here I was with my Amazon Prime order that won't be here until mid-May!
Don't get me wrong. They look cute, but more importantly, I want to look cute and I don't think spending thousands of dollars on this stuff would be the smartest idea.
Would you buy these things? Do you know anyone who has them?
