Lexus is a very bright and outgoing young lady.  She has the ability to hold a meaningful one-on-one conversation with adults.  She is a kid who really enjoys arts and crafts and dreams of traveling to Paris and Italy one day.

Lexus loves playing outside, listening to music, playing games, and most of all, singing.  She hopes that her new family will consider sending her for singing lessons. She loves animals, trying new things, and visiting with her brother.

Lexus does very well in a home setting and is able to follow rules and expectations with her current foster family.

Her teachers classify Lexus as a very bright student who is academically on target.  The faculty at her school say she is a pleasure to have in class.

Lexus would fit in well in almost any family constellation that includes at least one mom with older children or no other children in the home. Lexus has a younger brother who she is very close to and she would like her new family to help her maintain regular visits with him. He is currently living in western MA.

Who Can Adopt

If you’re at least 18, have a stable source of income and have room in your heart, you may be a perfect match to adopt a waiting child. Adoptive parents can be single, married or partnered; experienced or not; renters or homeowners; LGBTQ+ singles and couples. As an adoptive parent, you won’t have to pay any fees. Adoption from foster care is completely free in Massachusetts.

Adopting a child from foster care includes training, interviews and home visits to determine if adoption is right for you. These steps will help match you with a child or sibling group that will be a good fit.

To learn more about adoption from foster care, call the Massachusetts Adoption Resource Exchange (MARE) at (617) 964-6273 or visit www.mareinc.org. Start the process today and give a waiting child a permanent place to call home.
