The St. John Neumann's Lakeside Family Festival is celebrating its 35th anniversary.

This festival held on Memorial Day Weekend has become an anticipated event in the Greater New Bedford, Freetown, Lakeville, Fall River, Taunton, Middleboro, and the Cape areas. The emphasis is to present a weekend of activities directed to all family members, so they demand a safe and secure environment, absolutely no alcoholic beverages are allowed on grounds.

The Festival is located at Cathedral Camp on Long Pond, Route 18, (Middleboro Road) in East Freetown. The dates and hours of the operation are:

Friday, May 24, 2019: 6 to 11 pm
Saturday, May 25, 2019: 12 to 11 pm
Sunday, May 26, 2019: 12 to 11 pm
Monday, May 27, 2019: 12 to 5 pm

Festival attractions will include amusement rides for all ages, ethnic and American food booths, midway game booths of skill and chance (including the “GRAND” raffle), and their renowned GIANT Barn Sale. Also, enjoy delicious freshly prepared home-baked goods.

At 8 am on Sunday, the 29th Annual Antique and Classic and Car Show registration begins with a fee of $10. At 2 pm, judging begins and at 2:30 pm, the awards section is scheduled. (Rain date will be Monday)

There are no openings for any outside vendors, all our booths are operated by members of the Church.
