Fairhaven’s Kevin the Cow Enjoys Hot Dog Buns at Dee’s in New Bedford

Kevin the cow is at it again.

This time around, New Bedford’s famous Dee’s Hot Dogs was the lucky stop. The beloved mascot from Blazing Saddles Pony Parties and Petting Zoo in Fairhaven spent the day greeting fans and enjoying a snack, proving once again that he’s the SouthCoast’s most adventurous cow.

He even received a warm welcome at the staple hot dog stand.

“Kevin had the BEST time today! Everyone was so kind to him, and he even got to order some warm hot dog buns (just the buns, no hot dog) – and oh boy, they were yummy in his tummy!” shared Kevin's owner, Keri Wilson.

Customers and staff lit up when Kevin arrived, many stopping for photos, pets and a chance to witness the unexpected sight of a cow casually hanging around a hot dog stand.

A Birthday Invite for Kevin’s Friends

The visit came with an extra sweet surprise.

Dee’s owner was so delighted by Kevin’s appearance that she invited his petting zoo pals to help celebrate the stand’s upcoming 40th birthday on October 18. It’s a party that promises to be a memorable milestone, and now, one that may feature some very special four-legged guests.
