Have a child who loves dinosaurs? Then this event coming to the Rhode Island Convention Center is for you!

Jurassic Quest returns to Providence for a weekend filled with dinosaurs at the Rhode Island Convention Center.

This year Jurassic Quest has doubled in size and will feature over 100 dinosaurs including a life-size T-Rex, Spinosaurus, Triceratops, Giganotosaurus, Pinochiorex, Dracorex, Quetzalcoatlus, Anzu Wyliei, Ouranosaurus, Velociraptors, Stegosaurus, Utahraptor, Therizinosaurus, Allosaurus, Albertosaurus and Edmontosaurus.

I honestly have no idea what half of those dinosaurs look like, but I know my daughter will flip to see them!

And new this year are walking dinosaur rides! Yes, you can ride on a robotic dinosaur.

There's also inflatables to bounce on, fossil digs and paleontology stations plus a dino petting zoo for the little ones who might not be ready for the life-size predators.

The event is the first weekend of October, so you can check out the moving dinosaurs on Friday October 5 from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m., Saturday October 6 from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. or Sunday October 7 from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.

There are all sorts of tickets packages available at jurassicquest.com, but basic children's tickets are $20, adults are also $20 and seniors are $18.
