Somerset native and Red Sox color analyst Jerry Remy offered an update on his cancer battle last night on Twitter.

Remy shared some good news, saying he's done with surgery and chemo therapy and is looking forward to spring training!

According to WCVB-TV in Boston, Remy has has called over 3,900 Red Sox games since 1988. This June, he announced that he had been diagnosed with cancer for the fifth time.  Remy shared that he'll be embarking on a 5 week journey of radiation.

We hope to see Jerry Remy ready and healthy for spring training!
