Jennifer Garner’s Nantucket Series Finally Gets Premiere Date
It's been nearly a year since we first heard Jennifer Garner was heading to Nantucket to film her latest project. Now filming has wrapped, editing is complete, and we finally have a premiere date.
Once again, a novel by Elin Hilderbrand is making the leap to the screen—this time as an eight-part miniseries, reviewers are already calling your next 'must-watch' summer binge.
When the New Nantucket Series Premieres
The new series will debut July 9 on Peacock, highlighting Nantucket's seaside charm for viewers across the country.
What the Show Is About
In the new show, Jennifer Garner plays a woman dealing with grief who decides to host a weekend away at her Nantucket home for friends from different phases of her life. Secrets threaten the trip, though bonds are ultimately strengthened during the friendly reunion.
While it may be tough to recognize specific spots from just a minute-long trailer, several well-known island spots were used during filming last fall.
Filming Locations You Might Recognize
Universal Studios had permits to film at a local Stop & Shop, the Nantucket Memorial Airport, live music venue, The Chicken Box, Bartlett's Farm and the Summer House Cottages—which, fittingly, are actual five-star hotel accommodations.

And it's not just scenery that's local. According to Boston Casting, more than 500 Nantucket locals were cast in the show.
From familiar faces to iconic island backdrops, there will be plenty of recognizable features to watch for in Peacock's new series starting July 9.
