Jenelle ‘Nelly’ Eaton Passes Away At The Age Of 17

Sad news as Fall River native Jenelle "Nelly" Eaton passed away November 21, 2015 at 9:06 p.m. at Hasbro Children's Hospital.

Nelly was diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma, a bone cancer that affects mostly children and adolescents.

According to the #PRAYFORNELLY Facebook support page, Nelly's family and friends are thankful for all the prayers and support that was given through her tough journey.

Her Mother, Laura Eaton, posted on her personal Facebook page saying this:

"My Nelly girl gained her wings tonight at 9:06 PM--She was surrounded by all her family and friends and was at such peace listening to her Christian music and listening to me read the word of our Lord to her--I am lost right now but know we both are at peace--Thank you again to each and everyone who stuck by me and never lost hope and faith through any of this!!‪#‎TEAMNELLY‬#PRAYFORNELLY ‪#‎NELLYSTRONG‬"

The Southcoast and all who have followed Nelly and her battle with Cancer has shown their love and support and she will be missed.
