It's that time of year again where the Roger Williams Park Zoo is having their annual Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular. This is something you don't want to miss out!

Every year, RWPZ has this event before Halloween but for the past few years, the lines and the waiting have been horrendous. You'd get there around 7:00 p.m. and finally get to the front of the line around 9:00 p.m. This year, the waiting will be a bit different and hopefully improved.

The zoo wants to strictly enforce timed entry for the weekends. That means that visitors who arrive before their allotted time will not be allowed to enter, and those who arrive after their timed entry window will be required to wait as the Zoo gives priority to guests who arrive within their timeslot. As a result of timed ticket entry, you can only buy Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night tickets online.

The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular runs from October 6 to November 6 and is open rain or shine, however, in cases of severe weather or weather-related technical difficulties they might close the event or end admission early.
