Move Over, Finalists! This 8-Year-Old Should Be the Voice of Logan Airport

Move over, grown-ups! We have a new favorite in the race to become the next voice of Boston Logan International Airport, and she’s only EIGHT years old!

I first spotted Savannah's story in a Facebook post shared by MethuenLife Magazine, and I immediately had to share it with all of you! This little girl is just too good not to root for.

Meet Savannah Aviles of Methuen, Massachusetts.

While her parents were talking about the airport’s competition, Savannah was listening, closely.  According to the post, her mom, Molly, practiced the lines aloud, and Savannah apparently decided, “I can do that!”

Watch her amazing video, below.

She memorized the script, brought out her best Boston accent, and secretly recorded her own audition on her mom’s phone. Her parents had no idea until they stumbled across the recording, and they couldn’t stop laughing!

Now, here’s the catch: Savannah is too young to officially enter the competition. The finalists are down to eight adults, so she won’t be taking home the title this time.

BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW WICKED AWESOME SHE IS?!

Seriously, have you heard her? The confidence! The accent! The fact that she took a shot at something new without anyone even asking her to? I am already picturing people hearing her voice over the airport speakers and immediately feeling like they’ve landed in New England.

We know there are eight official finalists, but if we had a vote, Savannah would be getting ours. Age rules or not, this girl has star power!

Logan Airport, we have one request: SAVE A SPOT FOR SAVANNAH! Because this little girl is wicked good, and we’re absolutely rooting for her!
