Injured Swimmer Rescued in Dartmouth

DARTMOUTH — A swimmer in Dartmouth is rescued after suffering a serious injury.

Dartmouth Police say first responders were called to Salter's Point off of Smith Neck Road  on Sunday for a report of an injured swimmer.

The unidentified man had suffered an apparent spinal cord injury.

He was medflighted to an area hospital.

His condition was not released.
