The town of Newtown is in mourning, and may never fully recover from the events that took place last Friday.

But as we all struggle with what happened, stories of unbelievable bravery and human kindness are all around Newtown CT. Like the man who lived next door to the school who opened his doors for six kids who were sitting in his driveway after escaping the school. Or the teacher who comforted kids in a closet and made sure they kept calm until it was safe to open the door.

As the days and weeks go by, I'm sure we will hear many more of these examples of bravery and maybe some of our faith in humanity can be restored.
