Improving the Lives of Southcoast Kids

We're proud to have the Southern New England Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) at our event because we know how important it is for kids to feel like kids.  With such high rates of of Type 1 diabetes through the Southcoast, the JDRF helps to connect families experiencing the same challenges, to each other.  If someone in your family is newly diagnosed with T1D, this group is a great resource to help your family adjust to your "new normal"- from navigating your child's school health policies to summer camp preparedness.  Stop by their booth at Kidabaloo and connect with any of the amazing families representing the Southern New England chapter- including a few amazing New Bedford families!
