The taste of fall is at Dunkin’, but I’m not getting in line for pumpkin spice. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with Dunkin’s pumpkin items like the Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Signature Latte, or the pumpkin flavored coffees. They’re fine. However, my go-to fall favorite is not pumpkin at all; it’s apple cider.

Not only does Dunkin’ offer hot and iced apple cider, but now they’re offering Apple Cider Donut and Apple Cider MUNCHKINS® donut hole treats for the first time.

“The taste of apple cider sweetens the season with Dunkin’s Apple Cider Donut, featuring an apple cider cake ring tossed in cinnamon sugar. Perfect for sharing with friends this fall, guests can also enjoy Apple Cider MUNCHKINS® donut hole treats.” - Dunkin’

The trick, apparently, is finding them before they’re sold out.

I have been to Dunkin' several times since the release in August. Every single time I ask for Apple Cider MUNCHKINS® or an Apple Cider Donut, I'm always out of luck. I heard a rumor that they were discontinued weeks ago due to the popular demand. I find it hard to believe that Dunkin' would sell out of a fall flavor before fall even really starts. Hello, the official first day of fall isn't until Monday, September 23.

Can someone please help this basic chick out? If anyone sees these available at a Dunkin' store on the SouthCoast, please let me know. I don't even care if I just get one. That's all I'm asking for. Just a taste of this apple-cinnamon treat.
