Hundreds of Bikers fight to Keep their Water Clean

NEW BEDFORD - MA

According to The Standard Times, the Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride drew hundreds on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon where cyclists signed up for a 100 mile, 75 mile, or 35 mile bike ride.

"Along with the ride, each cyclist is required to raise a minimum of $300 to support the coalition’s work to protect the environment. As of Sunday evening, the coalition was at 91 percent of its goal. A total of $137,833 was raised toward a goal of $150,000" (The Standard Times)
