Hollywood Movie Being Filmed In Providence This Weekend

A fitting film for the Halloween season is taping at the state house in Providence this weekend.

The Purge 3 is taking over the Rhode Island state house and filming scenes in the Speaker's office, the Governor's State Room, the Capitol Rotunda and the basement according to ABC 6.

Actors Frank Grillo and Elizabeth Mitchell star in The Purge films, which take place in America years in the future when apparently crime is legal for a 12-hour period.

The film series pretty much features a group of people trying to survive the mayhem that ensues when all crime is legal, so some very crazy scenes could be filmed in RI over the next few days,

If you want to head into the city to check it out, filming is said to be happening through Tuesday, October 27th.
