Holiday Wish Recap: Helping out the Gracia Family [VIDEO]
What a great feeling to know that "Papa" Gracia and his two children will be spending Christmas together with help from the SouthCoast community.
Thanks to the help of our wonderful advertisers – Paul Chaisson, Leslie Poulin from First Citizens, and Carefree Homes – as well as the loving listeners of Fun 107, Day 1 of Holiday Wish was a huge success.
All together, we raised nearly $4,000 in cash and gifts for the Gracia family from New Bedford.
On top of the cash incentives, "Papa" Gracia also received a wonderful kitchen gift basket that will most certainly fill his culinary needs in the kitchen. All the appliances, pots and pans that are needed in every household were provided by Stephanie Pickup from Care Free Homes.
Thank you for all of your text donations and calls to The Rock & Fox Show to ignite a giving-filled week with our United Way of Greater New Bedford Holiday Wish Program.
Stay tuned for four more families throughout the week.
