Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to propose a toast.

Since Day 1 of Fun 107's search for the SouthCoast's favorite bartender, we have been bombarded with nominations from the Braga to the Bourne Bridges. Everybody has their own watering hole and that special someone to make that special drink.

But while each bartender is special in their own way, only one can be the SouthCoast's favorite.

The final 10 nominees were presented for you to vote on (and only one vote was allowed per person), and the time has come to announce that out of thousands of votes, your favorite SouthCoast bartender is:

***Stephen James Poulack of Chili's in Wareham***

Congratulations, Stephen!

We reached out to his General Manager, Ellen, who was not only happy for Stephen but also agreed 100 percent that the people were spot-on when it comes to choosing him as the SouthCoast's favorite bartender.

"He’s a funny guy – he really promotes himself and people come for that. He makes up special drinks for every holiday and posts photos of them to Facebook and always promotes himself and getting people to come see him," Ellen said. "There were table tents on all of the tables to vote for him. He’s great storyteller, too, so people like to listen."

Poulack has worked for the Wareham Chili's location for 13 years as a cook, a server, and now he’s making his mark as a superb bartender.

"He’s very loyal to the business and he’s a big help to the team," Elle said. "He’s loved by guests, the team, and just everybody. He’s a really good kid and we’re lucky to have him."

Working overtime certainly paid off for Poulack as he puts in 40-plus hours a week and more if need be. He is known to come in the clutch as a big team player and you can find him at the bar every day except Wednesday and Sunday. It's safe to say that when he’s there, the bar is always full.

So he may get the nod as the SouthCoast's favorite bartender, but the competition was fierce and it was super close. Stephen only won by 14 votes over second-place finisher Jocelyn Cashman Gosselin of Atlantic Sports Bar in Tiverton.

Congrats to everyone who made it to the final round, and three cheers for Stephen!
